Description
GKSh-1600RGZ Hydraulic Power Tong is designed for fast, safe, accurate make-up and break-out of pipes with outer diameters from Ø60 mm (2 3/8") to Ø120 mm (4 3/4"").
The climatic version is NF1 as per GOST 15150-69, ambient air temperature during operation is from -45°С to +50 °С.
Features
The unit is fully reversible, eliminating the need to reinstall the jaws when switching between makeup and breakout modes.
The GKSh-1600RGZ hydraulic power tong features a dual safety interlock system triggered when the door is opened. The primary hydraulic interlock cuts off the hydraulic fluid supply to the hydraulic motor upon opening the door, thereby stopping the rotor rotation. The secondary mechanical interlock prevents accidental actuation of the rotor control handle while the door remains open.
