GKSh-1600R Hydraulic Power Tong is designed for a quick, safe and accurate make-up and break-out of drill pipes and tubing pipes with outer diameters Ø60 mm (2 3/8"), Ø73 mm (2 7/8"), Ø89 mm (3 1/2"), Ø95 mm (3 3/4"), Ø102 mm (4"), Ø105 mm (4 1/8"), Ø108 mm (4 1/4"), Ø114 mm (4 1/2"), Ø121 mm (4 3/4"), Ø127 mm (5"), Ø140 mm (5 1/2")
The climatic version is NF1 as per GOST 15150-69, ambient air temperature during operation is from -45°С to +50 °С.
Features
This hydraulic power tong is an upgraded version ofGKSh-1600MK. This is a reversible power tong, so there is no need to reposition the jaws for make-up or break-out.GKSh-1600R Hydraulic Power Tong is equipped with a double ocking system when the louvre (door) is open. When the louvre (door) opens, the main (hydraulic) locking device stops the supply of the working fluid to the hydraulic motor, so the rotor stops rotating.
There is an additional mechanical) locking device that prevents the rotor handle from being triggered by accident, if the louvre (door) is open.
