Description

Automated hydraulic tong GGKSh-8000M2OS is designed for fast, safe, accurate make-up and break-out of drill pipes with outer diameters from Ø73 mm (2 7/8") to Ø219 mm (8 5/8") which is controlled by an industrial PC - controller with Windows 10 IoT real-time operating system. It is additionally equipped with a hydraulic pivoting unit that allows the tong to rotate 359 degrees around its axis, limited only by the flexible hydraulic hoses supplying the fluid and the control cable that ensures communication between the devices.

The use of a withdrawable arm, control via programmable logic controllers (PLCs), and the option to use a remote control panel ensure safe and efficient operation while extending the service life of the drilling tools.
