Description
GKSh-1800RMGZ Hydraulic Power Tong is designed for fast, safe, accurate make-up and break-out of pipes with outer diameters from Ø60 mm (2 3/8") to Ø140 mm (5 1/2") delivering a maximum torque of up to 18,481 N·m (1,884 kgf·m) at a discharge pressure of 18 MPa (180 kgf/cm2).
The climatic version is NF1 as per GOST 15150-69, ambient air temperature during operation is from -45°С to +50 °С.
Features
This tong is the next step in the development of the GKSh-1800 model. The unit is fully reversible, eliminating the need to reinstall the jaws when switching between makeup and breakout modes.
The GKSh-1800RMGZ hydraulic power tong features a dual safety interlock system triggered when the door is opened. The primary hydraulic interlock cuts off the hydraulic fluid supply to the hydraulic motor upon opening the door, thereby stopping the rotor rotation. The secondary mechanical interlock prevents accidental actuation of the rotor control handle while the door remains open.
The GKSh-1800RMGZ hydraulic power tong is standardized to the maximum extent with the GKSh-1800 model, making their gears and bearings fully interchangeable.
