Description
GKSh-1800R Hydraulic Power Tong is designed for a quick, safe and accurate make-up and break-out of pipes with an outer diameter varying from Ø60 mm (2 3/8") to Ø140 mm (5 1/2"), with maximum torque 18,462 Nm (1,882 kg•cm) at injection pressure 17 MPa (170 kgs/cm2).
The climatic version is NF1 as per GOST 15150-69, ambient air temperature during operation is from - 45°С to +50 °С.
Features
This hydraulic power tong is an upgraded version ofGKSh-1800. This is a reversible power tong, so there is no need to reposition the jaws for make-up or break-out.GKSh-1800R Hydraulic Power Tong is equipped with a double locking system when the louvre (door) is open. When the louvre (door) opens, the main (hydraulic) locking device stops the supply of the working fluid to the hydraulic motor, so the rotor stops rotating.
There is an additional (mechanical) locking device that prevents the rotor handle from being triggered by accident, if the louvre (door) is open. GKSh-1800R Hydraulic Power Tong has minimal design differences as compared to GKSh-1800 Hydraulic Power Tong. The gears and bear of the two version are interchangeable and substitutable.
