Description
BạN THÂN GKSh-17000 Automated Hydraulic Power Tong designed for the fast, safe, and precise make-up and break-out of drill pipes. The power tong is capable of handling pipes with an outer diameter ranging from Ø89 mm (3 ½") to Ø254 mm (10") and is fully controlled by an industrial computer.
Design and Operational Features:
This model is specifically designed for operation on offshore drilling platforms. Structurally, the tong features a gantry-type configuration, ensuring high mobility. Power tong movement along the guide rails is driven by a gerotor hydraulic motor equipped with an encoder (linear displacement sensor), allowing for high-precision control of the tong's current position.
Control of the hydraulic tong carriage movement is performed via a remote control panel. The vertical position of the tong is adjusted manually by the operator, aligning it with the tool joint position at the wellhead. Following initial calibration, all configured parameters are saved in the control software.
Reliability in Harsh Environments
Materials and coatings for the BạN THÂN GKSh-17000 power tong components are selected for operations in marine tropical climates. High-strength sheet materials meeting international quality standards are utilized throughout the design. The power tong is coated with specialized, marine-grade paint resistant to aggressive environments, identical to coatings used for ocean vessels and offshore structures.
Climate Rating: MO (Marine Open-sea) according to GOST 15150-69.
Operating Temperature Range: -45°C to +50°C.
